SIR TEST SERVICE
Restrictions on the use of CFCs for cleaning PWBs and present day electronic printed circuit designs incorporating
greater packaging density, fine pitch technology, increased operating frequencies as well as hostile operating
environment demand greater level of surface cleanliness, more thorough assembly testing and process quality control.
In response to emerging needs, ASR Instruments has developed a fully integrated and flexible SIR test system.
This high speed test system has a unique patented capability of continuously monitoring insulation resistance even
under bias condition and display the data in real time. The programming of test and bias voltages (+/- 0 to 500VDC),
dwell and test intervals etc. are programmable by menu driven questions on the data terminal. Once the test procedure
is programmed the system will run the entire test automatically without operator intervention. The unit is very simple to
operate and is extremely user friendly. We provide a computer software to enable standard spreadsheets like Lotus,
Excel etc. on PC to analyze the data collected over long periods and produce custom reports and graphs. We also
provide all the cabling, connectors and hardware for mounting the test coupons in the chamber. We can provide you
with a complete turnkey system including test chamber, system installation and training.
